book up to 4 months in advance (weddings may vary)

to cancel an order at any time with written notice to the business by minimum dates as outlined in our policies/procedures

to a refund, less the cancellation fee (as stipulated by policies). Refunds will not be given on food/personalized products that have been partially/totally consumed or already completed. Nor will refunds be given for food products or an event due to "buyer's remorse" or an error not noticed by the Client regarding dates and times. Our normal refund policy will still apply.
The client's responsibilities

provide business with up-to-date and valid contact information

respond to emails/phone calls in a timely manner

maintain an account in good standing

maintain a $0 balance before their event date. This may affect the delivery of your products if your account is not cleared before a scheduled delivery/event time.

follow stipulations set out in client agreement, terms, disclaimers, policies

pay by deadlines given or be subject to late/rush fees
-
pay late/rush fees when applicable

notify business of changes in order as outlined in amendment policies

You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table/environment for the cake(s) & products. Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table, and optimal room temperature of 23ºC or below.

If you (or your representative) elect to pick up and set up the cake, you, the Client, must sign a waiver and assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves the possession of Alpha-Omega Events.

You are responsible for following cake care instructions as outlined by the business during transport and for set-up. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake/products after set-up is complete (or product is picked up by the client/representative).

Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You, the Client, agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for any and/or all allergic reactions.

The business's rights

to reject/cancel orders at their discretion

to change prices & policies at their discretion, and without prior notice to Clients (Performance of our agreement is contingent upon the ability of Alpha-Omega Events to complete the agreement and is subject to labour disputes, accidents, Acts of God, and other reasons causes beyond our control.)

to use any photographs for display or promotion without your express permission, and without compensation to you or your issue.
The business's responsibilities

to work for the client from booking date (the first business day deposit is received) until the event date or products/services are rendered to client, whichever comes first

provide great customer service & fair pricing, based on market value.

provide client with receipt if requested within 2-3 business days

provide client with invoice prior to payment deadline

respond to client's queries in timely manner, namely 2-3 business days, but sometimes up to 4-5 business days in lieu of us being busy i.e. peak seasons. (Please note: Thurs-Sat we are usually preparing for our weekend events so aim for the earlier part of the week for quicker response times).

we do not have to remind clients of approaching payment deadlines or balance outstanding

we do not have to notify clients if a date they were inquiring about is taken, when no deposit has been paid. We operate on a first come, first served basis.

we are not responsible for the planning of your event, only the services we offer and have promised we will remit to you

we are not responsible for any damage to the cake/products after set-up is complete (or product is picked up by the client/representative).

we have the right to leave cake product(s) at the venue if the client (or designate) is not there at the scheduled time to receive it. We are not responsible for the product(s) thereafter

Wedding cakes and some tiered/sculpted special occasion cakes MUST be delivered by an Alpha-Omega Events representative to ensure its safe delivery. If you (or your representative) elect to pick up and set up the cake, you, the Client, must sign a waiver and will assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves the possession of Alpha-Omega Events.
